1. Export a TXT marker file from Avid Media Composer

To export timeline markers, go to: "Tools -> Marker". Right Click on "Export Markers as Text".

2. Use the "محول العلامات" to convert the TXT marker file into a ptx marker file

Open the free محول العلامات, select "Avid Media Composer > Marker Text (.txt)" and set "convert" to "Pro Tools > PTX File (.ptx)". Generate and download the file. If you have problems converting the file, you can contact the free support.

3. Import the ptx marker file into Avid ProTools

To import markers go to "File -> Import -> Session Data". Select the ptx file and make sure to check the "Ruler Markers" box in the Session Data panel before pressing OK. Your markers should now be imported into our ProTools Session.
